“Wee Hoose” [Ulster-Scots dialect for: small house]
The Wee Hoose Socks are knit from the toe up in broken rib with colourwork around the top of the leg before the cuff. It seemed only right that this “Wee Hoose” motif should find itself on a pair of cozy DK weight socks.
The pattern has a wedge toe and a Wrap and Turn short row heel, however the heel and toe can be changed to your own choice. They are knit using the magic loop method but can be adapted to suit dpns.
The pattern has full written instruction and charts for the colourwork.
** An abbreviated version without the written instructions for the charts is available on page 11.
