Product Details
From the Brassica family of plants, weld has been used throughout history as a natural yellow dye. Inspired by the Brassica colour of a gorgeous skein of The Uncommon Thread Silky Alpaca yarn, Weld is a textured and lace one-skein crescent shaped shawlette knit from the top down.
Gauge is not critical to the success of this project, but yardage requirements and the size of the project may vary with yarn substitutions or gauge changes.
Weld is a customizable shawl. Knit as many or as few repeats of the main body as you like! Size of shawl may also vary with how severely project is blocked. This pattern would look great in fingering or DK weight yarns as well.
The shawl is worked from the top down, forming a shallow crescent with a slightly rounded top edge.
The pattern is fully charted and written, so you can knit from whichever you prefer. It has been testknit and tech-edited.
