This is a pattern for a baby blanket (afghan, christening shawl) in lace design made with light worsted (category 3) yarn (about 1000 yards) and size G/6 (4.25 mm) crochet hook. Specifically, I used Snuggly Wuggly Big by Loops & Threads, but other brands will work too. The finished blanket measures approximately 36 by 30 inches. The skill level is beginner. The stitches used are: chains, single crochets, double crochets, and slip stitches. Very easy! The pattern is written in English, using the US crochet terminology. This pattern is my original design and it cannot be redistributed. However, you have the permission to sell finished items made from this pattern.
