The Wight Wedding Shawlette has been designed as a soft shoulder warmer for brides or bridesmaids who would like something simple but pretty without lots of lace. Made from premium angora means it would be lovely in Autumn. The corsage is entirely knitted (especially designed for those who would like flowers but can't crochet.) and is detachable so the shawl can be worn in a variety of different ways.
Materials Required:
1 x 3.50 mm/USA size 4, circular needle, long enough to accommodate all the edging stitches.
2 x 100 g skeins of 4 ply/ fingering weight yarn.(Example knitted using Premium Angora by Ice Yarns. Natural, approx 1200 yards.
Size 6.0 mm Toho Beads (Example made with silver lined crystal). Approximately 60 beads used in total.
Length of beading wire approx 3.5 inches long and folded in half.
1 x 13 cm safety pin.
Large eyed Wool Needle.
Finished size
Approximately 56’’ (142 cm) in length and 13’’ (33 cms) wide at centre of back.
