I love these squishy, round, and bold cables - and I'm obsessed by the dense crosses that separate each round section. To really give them some presence, I worked them in offset columns, and then ended the last repeat in shaping that gives the crown some extra squish up top. Plus that deep brim means your ears are covered and gives the hat the exact look I was going for.

- This could be worked on any tweed, solid, or heathered wool. You do want a fiber with elasticity/memory so the brim will fit nicely when worn.
