Product Details
When cycling along Hadrian’s Wall in the North of England one summer, my kids suddenly spied wild raspberries growing in a hedgerow. We stopped in the sunshine to pick and eat a few, and just thinking about it now brings a smile to my face.
Celebrate wild raspberries - the ultimate forager’s treat - with this brand new sock design. My Wild Raspberry Socks combine colourwork, a little texture and gorgeous hand dyed yarns from Eden Cottage. The result is a beautiful pair of socks that are just as interesting to knit as they are fun to wear. Grab a skein of sock yarn and a coordinating miniskein and cast on today!
This pattern has been professionally tech edited, for a stress-free knit.
Knit this pattern with any fingering/4-ply sock yarn, approx. 45 (55, 60, 70, 75)g MC and 14 (17, 19, 21, 24)g CC depending on length of foot. Sample uses Eden Cottage Yarns Brimham 4ply: 1 skein in Steel and 1 (1, 1, 2, 2) 20g miniskein/s in Wild Raspberry. The socks are knit from the top down.
