Needles: 6 mm needles Notions: tapestry needle Size: 21 inch circumference fits most adults Gauge: 16 sts x 24 rows = 4 inches k st as the gauge Stitches Used: K: knit P:purl Yo: yarn over Spike stitch: insert your right needle into the stitch 3 rows below the row you are working, yo, and pull the needle back through the stitch (this counts as a knit stitch) K2tog: knit 2 stitches together Sskp: Slip 2 stitches to the right needle one at a time, k the next st, slip the slipped stitches over the knit stitch just made.
