We’ve designed this cable knit hat specifically for baa ram ewe’s Winterburn DK yarn, a lovely blend of British wools spun and dyed in Yorkshire.
This is an easy pattern with both charts and written instructions so that you can choose your preferred method, and is suitable for advance beginners and old pros alike. It’s quick enough for a weekend project or last minute gift but interesting enough to make you want to keep going. The result is a warm, stylish hat that is a flattering, head hugging beanie style hat. The cables allow for lots of stretch to fit a variety of head sizes.
Using just 65g of DK yarn this is a also a great project for the odds and ends in your yarn stash or just one 100g skein of that DK yarn you’ve had your eye on.
