Great news! April 2021. I have added some more sizes 44-52ins to the original 32-42ins pattern. PLEASE NOTE: All sizes are included in this pattern, but the instructions for sizes 44-52 are written separately over the last few pages, so read before printing. The pattern also includes a schematic and a chart for an optional lace panel at the back and down the sleeves. (see images of the red version knitted in Rowan 4ply Finest)
Inspired by the 18th century short jacket, this classic wrap cardigan is cropped, and would look great worn over an Empire line, high-waisted dress, or as part of a layered outfit. Knitted in a beautiful, soft alpaca mix yarn, it is a modern twist on the classic ballet-wrap.
