Product Details

This elongated crescent-shaped shawl is worked from one short end to the other. It features a dragon's scale slipped-stitch pattern on the body, and a dragon's claws knit-on edging - these features are worked simultaneously. Increases and decreases incorporated into the dragon's scale pattern shape the shawl. A versatile accessory, it can be worn around the shoulders as a shawl, up around the neck as a cowl, or worn more loosely as a scarf.

This is a great project to use up a pretty single skein of sock yarn. To get the most out of your yardage, weigh the yarn before starting, and when you are close to the halfway point, begin working the decreases, so you know you'll have enough yarn to finish the shawl.
