This morning I started a little crochet and wanted it to be different. Lately I have progressed to the advanced level of crochet so I threw some of those stitches in and went with the flow. The end result surprised me!
Later on today after lunch, I thought I’d better write down the pattern. I picked this up, looked at it, turned it over and looked at it more, but I could not remember how I did it!!!! Not getting too worried, I grabbed my yarn and hook, a pencil and notepad, this first Xanadu, and got started. In it I use the Jacob’s Ladder, but in the first one it wasn’t right, so this time I made sure I got it right, and then the pattern evolved of its own accord…
This pattern uses the Jacob's Ladder stitch. A link is provided for guidance if you are not familar with it.
Having made this in DK, I am now thinking it might look lovey in finer yarn, and with more layers. Hmmmmmm.
