Product Details
I have a habit of holding onto even the smallest bits of leftover yarn from my projects, too small to give to anyone, but too lovely to toss. This cowl pattern combines medium-to-tiny remnants of fingering weight yarns to create a colorful, squishy accessory. This cowl is worked flat, as a large chevron. It begins with a provisional cast-on; rows of stockinette form the background, while rows of garter provide pops of color. A 3-needle bind-off is worked to join the ends of the cowl together. I strongly recommend using the Russian join technique, or another technique to weave in ends as you work, to connect your yarn lengths, and to spare you the task of weaving in hundreds of ends.
