A fun, scrappy companion piece to the [Young, Scrappy, and Cozy cowl.][2] that's perfect for using up bits and bobs of yarn. Sized for adults and older kids in DK weight yarn, the hat is worked with a series of (mosaic) slipped stitches on the brim, and stranded colorwork on the crown. Like the cowl, the Young Scrappy Hat spells out “RISE UP” in the mosaic colorwork in the brim and includes a full, charted mosaic alphabet (right side up!) that lets you add whichever words or monogram you choose
