Thermal Stitch made with Extended Single Crochet!
Any yarn weight can be used. I prefer thinner for dishcloths. Different weights of yarn will come out different sizes. Beginning chain can be lengthened or shortened as desired.
This design also makes great hotpads. If intended use is as a hotpad, I recommend using heavier (worsted weight) yarn but the same size hook to avoid any holes. Any worsted weight, 100% cotton or 100% wool yarn can be used or thinner yarn could be used doubled up for hotpad. Gauge and finished size will be different.
