    About

He's not into jumpers any more but would like a pair of warm socks please to wear in his wellies? Not winter by the time they were finished but hope he'll get some wear out of them before he grows too much! I had some sock wool left over and decided to do contrast cuff, heel, toe and then added in another solid colour of stash 4 ply to try helical knitting which I loved doing....it's like magic! No stripe jogs. Quite pleased with the result and the pattern is written so well with lots of video tutorials.
When I next try helical, I think I would use a good contrast yarn though as the ones I had were too similar to the sock colours and lost the effect in parts.
PS They were never going to be twins, only siblings, as I wasn't sure I'd have enough yarn!
