How to crochet a bobble stitch step by step

1

Bobble stitch step 1

Work along the row to where you would like to make your bobble stitch.

2

Bobble stitch step 2 - double crochet

Yarn over hook, insert hook into the stitch and pull up a loop. Yarn over so you have 3 loops on your hook. Yarn over again and pull through two.

3

Crochet bobble stitch step 3 - 6 loops on your hook

Repeat 4 or 5 times into the same stitch. Until you have 6 loops on your hook.

4

Bobble stitch step 4

Yarn over and pull through all 6 loops on your hook.

5

Bobble stitch step 5 - finish your bobble

In the next stitch, crochet a single crochet which will flatten the bobble stitch. Use your finger to bush the bobble out into its bobbly shape.

And there you have it, you've just crochet your first bobble stitch!
