The Knitting & Stitching Show - meet Debbie Bliss!

If you haven’t had the pleasure of visiting The Knitting & Stitching Show, it’s time to make a special trip! Jam packed with workshops, demonstrations and intoxicating shopping opportunities, it’s the perfect day trip for knitting, sewing and textile craft enthusiasts.

This year’s show, at Alexandra Palace, London from 11-14 October, will be full of fabulous exhibitors from the yarn and sewing worlds.

Most exciting of all, the LoveKnitting team will there on the 12th of October with a very welcoming sofa, so please do come along and meet our team, including the fabulous Debbie Bliss! Come and have a sneak peek at Debbie’s latest collections and yarns, and get to know our team in person. We’d love to see your WIPs, especially any of your projects in Debbie Bliss yarns - we might even feature you on our Facebook page!

More than just shopping!

The Knitting & Stitching Show is famous for inspiration and perspiration: soak up the joys of the Textile Galleries, and take in a workshop and learn a new skill - there are over 200 to choose from over the weekend.

In the Textile Galleries this year, don’t miss ‘Spiraling Out’, the fabulous circular handknit by Dawn ‘Midnight’ Hemmings, containing contemporary and traditional motifs and almost 150,000 stitches, and the magnificent embroidery landscapes, ‘A Stitched Timeline from the 70s to Today’ by Carol Naylor.

Workshops include learning how to knit toe-up socks, knit mini jumper decorations for your Christmas tree, and demystify the tapestry crochet technique. There are sewing and craft workshops too - just about something for every keen crafter.
