Very cute way to save money! Knit the “sleeve” house to fit over an empty oatmeal box. Trim with scraps of yarn. This is fairly easy to knit. Then you add easy knit birds and embroider a few flowers to decorate. Birdhouse “rooftop” lifts off so you can add money to your bank. A good way to store “secret” items too. Uses worsted weight yarns, knitting needles size US # 4, and # 7. Bank finished is about 11 Inches tall with roof.
