This yarn is so easy to use. It makes great products - I specifically use for Christmas stockings. Having a washable wool product makes my customers happy.
I'm enjoying knitting with the Cascade yarn. It doesn't split, the color is excellent, and the stitch definition is also noteworthy. If I had to confine myself to one yarn only--heaven forbid!!!--I'd probably choose Cascade 220.
This is good superwash. It wears well and looks nice. It has some of that stretch that is the bane of superwash wool but it’s really minimal compared to other yarns I’ve tried. It’s my go to product for machine wash washable wool. I know lots of knitters avoid superwash altogether but there are lots of folks in my life that don’t have it in them to handwash their knitted gifts, including baby items, and this looks great in colorwork and has decent stitch definition so I use it often for gifts.
As expected, this Cascade yarn works up easily, stitches are even, and the color is uniform throughout. Very easy to knit!
Best ww yarn ever! Great stitch definition, no splitting, smooth handling. AND, it's superwash so when I gift items to people who insist on putting things I make in the washing machine, it doesn't felt (may need minor blocking).
