Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran

I’ve made Norman the sheep several times from this yarn and the recipients love them and the quality of the yarn. I would recommend it.

The yarn was nice, but when I re-ordered more the color did not match the original dye lot at all. It looked washed out and not vibrant like the original lot. Customer Service was very difficult to work with. I had to email them four times to finally understand when new yarn was coming in and the fact that they had no idea what the dye lot would be. I spent a lot of money and was very disappointed!!

Quality is good and as expected

Lovely to knit with. I have very sensitive skin with bad exzema and this brings the joy back to knitting for me

It crochets up really well. I love the color so much and the quality is amazing. The skein is also so tiny and cute!

One of the balls had several knots in it. And it looked dirty when knit up. Out of 14 balls, I just had problems with one.

Lovely soft cotton yarn that knits up well and gives good pattern definition. So far I’ve not had any balls with breaks in the yarn in them which is excellent. Wide range of colours available though I’d love to see a pure cream added if possible.

I liked working with this yarn. It knit up beautifully. My only beef is that there was a knot part way through a ball and ot ended up part way through a pattern. I just hope the knot doesn't come apart. The colors are beautiful as well.

I love that this is cotton. Color options are great. However as a beginner, I found the threads of the yarn unravel easily and get frequently get caught in my hook. Maybe it happens less if you are better at crocheting but I found I often had to untangle some threads or redo my stitches.
