I wanted to finish off a cardigan that has taken me 3 yrs (on & off) to do but I ran out of the original yarn, which was no longer in stock from Aldi. I only had the boarder & pockets left to do, so I ordered 2 x 100g of this yarn hoping it would match colour wise. It's perfect & so easy to knit with. You wouldn't know that the design wasn't meant to be like it is now. Delivery was very quick.
I am usually not a fan of acrylic yarns but I wanted to make an afghan so I thought I’d try this mix. The yarn makes a descent finished product however it is extremely splitty ( I know this is not a word :)) to knit with. So if you use the yarn, use dull tipped needles. Honestly, the Susan Bates needles I have in my old collection work the best! And knit it up with a gauge tighter than normal.
Great value, easy to work with, soft, washable and a good weight for autumn/ winter wear.
Lovely colour and knits up well. Let's hope it doesn't bobble as quickly as the Aran
It's very itchy and feels like 100% acrylic. It's a waste of time to knit with poor quality yarn. I'll stick to proper brands like lang and lana grossa.
