Product Details
Look who's in the lettuce patch! This little one isn't interested in lettuce though, just chocolate.
This is a knitted 'Rabbit in the Lettuce Patch' , that has been designed to cover a chocolate orange. Once the chocolate is all gone, the rabbit snuggling in the lettuce can be used as a decorative item.
The cover measures approx. 17 cms.
The pattern includes instructions on how to make the rabbit & lettuce with a list of abbreviations. The pattern is written in English & can be printed onto 1 piece of paper (front & back).
All pieces are knitted flat on a pair of straight 3.25mm & 4mm knitting needles (US 3 & 6). The pattern is worked using stocking stitch.
The pattern uses DK yarn (double knitting or light worsted weight); less than 25g (80 yards) of brown & green & oddments of cream, white & pink. 2 black safety eyes (8mm).

Very cute pattern which was easy to knit and very cute when finished. Not very good at embroidery, so I did not put veins into the lettuce leaves.
