This pure wool, machine washable worsted weight yarn comes in a stunning range of signature Rowan shades! The yarn knits on size US 7 (4.5mm) needles, so it is perfect for any worsted weight pattern and most aran weight patterns as well. It is an absolute dream to knit and wear!

Knitting socks that are over the knee for Autumn and Winter. Finding a book of designs that this yarn filled the requirements and the stitch definition is exacting along with the colours. The design is called the Snow Queen so I wanted the colours in the design signifying frost and ethereal fantasy of this much loved childhood story read Many times and this wool plates the part by wash and wear with stretch and comfort.
