Product Details

Sacre Coeur is a top-down lace crescent, with optional beading.

This pattern offers several variables to play with -

Start the lace when you like - right at the start for an all-over pattern

or after a plain section of any size, in stockinetter or garter.

The main Arch lace is indefinitely repeatable - keep going until you are ready to start the Stained Glass edging. The edging is also repeatable, so you can extend either part as far as you wish, and knit until you run out of yarn.

Adaptable to any yardage of lace to fingering weight.

Can be worked entirely from the written pattern, or from charts with some notes.

Pattern rows are worked on the right side only.

Named for the beautiful forms of the famous Parisian Sacré-Coeur Basilica, and for the beauty of the heart when it is full of love.
