Everyone loves Santa! Young and old adore him. But, none love him as much as his Mrs., - especially when he takes her sledding after a long work day in the toy factory.
This adorable couple is a relatively easy knit. Each takes about 150 m of yarn. I used Bernat Satin but any #4 yarn can be used to achieve a similar result. The heads and hands are done in Patons Silk Bamboo Blush colour. It is a wonderful yarn for sculpting the faces of this pair. The fur adornment on the clothing and also the beard and hair is Loops and Threads Luxurious Fur. It is soft, silky and has a bit of glimmer to the yarn. Lovely for the hair of both.
Step by step instructions are given for each one and the directions for the clothing is also included.
Not a tricky pattern, this would make a wonderful Christmas knit to join your Christmas ornaments or a soft cuddly toy for the child in the house... be that child you used to be.
