Product Details
Lace, stripes, garter stitch and short rows add up to the very best of all worlds in this generously sized three-colour wrap with plenty of knitterly interest. Despite the modular effect, it’s worked strip by strip with minimal ends to weave in.
Worked at a loose gauge in Ripples Crafts’ lofty British breed blend Cochrane, Stoer makes for a cozy and warm but light shawl that’s ideal for snuggling in on the windiest winter days. Then again, if your climate is milder, you could work fewer crescents per strip for a smaller shawl.
Yarn
The pattern requires three colours of sport weight yarn for the main colour. I recommend using a lofty woollen spun yarn that will give body and drape at the stated gauge.
