Good color. It doesn’t split too much. Piling is bad though. By the time my blankets are done they look all fuzzy and worn. Would not recommend for bigger projects.

Stylecraft yarn is not available at out craft stores in US. So, I was purchasing this yarn because of a pattern that I saw on You Tube and the presenter stated how soft it was and what a good product. The price for 323 yards skein sold me. Then, at checkout, the shipping was so reasonable. The shipping through customs was quick! Once received, I began creating and it is really soft. No problems with splitting. I am making a beautiful project that is very soft and the colors are beautiful. I will be purchasing more as time goes by. So glad to find you!
I purchased the Smarties crochet blanket pattern and chose the darker colour option and purchased the Stylecraft Special DK yarn that was recommended. The yarn was lovely, soft, colours vibrant. The Tomato red colour however was more like a dark Coral, so I purchased locally a different red. The pattern recommended a quantity that I thought would be too much to I deviated from the pattern there and I was completely right. I was able to do 2 full baby blankets and still have a good amount left over of each of the colours just none of the main colour left.

This yarn knits up beautifully, is nice to handle and comes in a great selection of colours. I’ve used it for several projects and they always turn out well.
Great to crochet with and a good choice of colours
The only thing I would say is that the yarn has a tendency to split. Otherwise it is very nice to knit with.
