This pattern brings the fun of Tunisian crochet and dressing up your pet together! Includes my unique design for Tunisian openings inside the fabric (no stiching pieces together) that can be used for any size, totally custom sizing of openings. You will increase your knowledge of Tunisian!
While designed for chickens, this pattern could easily be used to make a sweater cape for a smaller dog, cat, goose, duck, or any smaller critter with 4 limbs!
The pattern is designed to be a cape-styled sweater which buttons in the front, rather than a tunic-style. This provides the greatest amount of safety for your animal to walk freely while wearing the garment. Please note this pattern is not meant to provide a safety garment for a sick or recovering chicken, but could be used to provide some warmth to short haired dogs or hairless cats. The pattern includes options for closing the front and offers two sizes.
