50 Shades Blanket (and matching gnome)

I made this for my sister for Christmas

    About

My sister asked for a blanket - grey, she said. I couldn’t quite manage 50 shades but it’s pretty close! And I had to make another gnome out of the leftovers. I just hope she likes it. The dogs certainly do. It was hard to get any photos without them in it!

Your blanket is beautiful Karen and the colours work so well together,I think the natural really lifts the grey.Oh a d look a matching wee gnome, your sister is very spoilt.😊So how are you going to break the news to Munga another blanket she thought was hers to snuggle into on those cold winter days and you have ripped it out from under her again. Poor wee Munga, she's probably saying just give her the gnome and I will keep the blanket, please Mum.😉😊

Actually it was my other dog, Hamish, who took a particular liking to this blanket but, after all that effort, the answer is still tough, its going to its recipient! Mungo has plenty of other blankets he can snuggle into.
I agree about the natural. I was looking for several grey colours but it was hard to find several in the same brand of yarn and i think it would have looked too dull. I’m pleased with the outcome, and it was a new design for me too, which I think also turned out well.
Hope you are well. Happy new year!

@Karen P: Happy New Year Karen, I am well thank you and hoping 2021 is a nicer year for us all.
I actually thought the colours were lighter, than Mungas, well I hope Hamish has forgiven you.lol.😉
That's lovely that your sister was happy with her beautiful blanket and wee gnome. The colours are lovely together, now onto your next project.😉❤
