    About

I've been following all the adorable sleepy puppies knit from Pat's pattern. Thought I'd try this one for Aubrey since she loves the family dog so much. The "cream color" Katia yarn is snow white even though it is supposed to be cream. So I thought it looked good with the King Cole cookie dough color (almond with grey(?) twist). First time knitting with the fur type yarns so it took me a while. I found it hard to go back and fix mistakes ... couldn't see the stiches at all! Knitted the ears in the round. Also did the 2nd front paw in the round after the 1st 7 rows. I didn't like purling w/ this yarn because I seemed obsessed with untwisting it every few stitches! I just have to finish seaming it and then stuff it. I love the pattern! Great instructions. P.S. I did have a little difficulty placing the front paws and sewing them on. Pictures done!
