    About

I had the pattern for this for ages and earlier in the year took advantage of a sale price on the Noro Kureyon yarn to be able to make it, as a jumper. Having started I realised I would never wear it as a jumper as it makes up quite bulky which I don’t like in jumpers. But I loved the wool and the colours I had chosen so decided I should make a cardigan/jacket instead. So I redesigned the front and managed to source a few more balls of the yarn and finally this is the result. I am pretty pleased with it, even though joining the Entrelac shoulders with a mix of Kitchener grafting and mattress stitch was something of a challenge! Sadly the pattern instructions were minimal for this tricky part of the making up.

Helen, this is gorgeous !!! I love the colours , not very much Kureyon, the yarn, but joining the shoulders I agree it must have been quite a challenge !!
