My daughter-in-law has a photo session with the boys every Christmas and uses one of the photos in her hand-made cards. I showed her this pattern on the Lovecrafts website and she said it would be perfect for both boys. She chose slightly different blues for each jumper. The pattern is easy to follow, but I had to order an extra main colour ball for the smaller jumper even though my tension matched that in the pattern. Lovecrafts were very helpful and ensured I got the same lot/batch number, so the blue matched perfectly. It’s actually a good pattern for novice fairisle knitters to use. I made the smaller jumper safer for the little one. On the bigger jumper, I used domed, black buttons for the snowman’s eyes and buttons and a small pompom on his hat. I have some smaller craft pompoms I used for the snowmen’s scarves on both jumpers and on the snowman’s hat on the smaller jumper as they are less bulky. I embroidered the snowman’s eyes and buttons on the smaller jumer.
