    About

    A fun project. I changed the trim along the pocket and front edges to reduce bulk. For the pocket, I picked up all 34 stitches in the contrast colour with the smaller needle, right side facing and bound off purlwise. For the front, I picked up 3 out of 4 stitches with right side facing and bound off pw. For the hood, I followed the pattern method except I picked up from the right side. I knit several rows (6 I think) stockinette, making 2 eyelet openings on the third row for the cord. I stitched down edge along the inside of the hood.
    For zipper, after blocking, I basted very close to edge, then hand sewed with back stitch at binding.
