    About

I take early morning walks with my dog, and it's often frosty in winter. I made these mittens to keep my hands warm. I knit them in the round using the Magic Loop method

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 3.25mm (US 3) 60cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stitch Markers
Other : I used scrap yarn for the stitch holder for the thumb while I was knitting the body. It helps to have a flexible holder for this portion of the mitten, because a stiff holder pulls the adjoining stitches.

    Measurements

Notes: This free pattern includes several sizes. I knit Adult Large and they're a bit big for me. I have medium-to-large hands. If I make this pattern again, I'll extend the cuff and reduce the finger and thumb length.
