He's gorgeous Michelle. I'm being sorely tempted to try one of these bears sometime - though I haven't knitted for over 12 years. Pat's patterns are amazing. 😊

I’ve just got this pattern, I love Pat’s bears, they’re all pretty straightforward, you should definitely give them a go. The Comfort Critters pattern is great for a small bear to get you started! 😄

@Michelle M: Hi Michelle, I'm definitely thinking about it. My only fear is the fibres from the fluffy wool. I'm allergic to both cats and dogs and some wools which shed fibres also bring on the same effect - feel as though I'm breathing through fur and get all choked up. I've had to give up on mohair, angora and some chenille types before. I may try a non-furry one first. Thanks for your offer of help, much appreciated as always!

You need to take care if yourself as that will make you so tired and run down.😊 One of my best friends is in hospital she has just had its MRI's and Monday she's having a PET scan as she has something on her lungs, so I really worried about her.🤔

@Michelle M: a PET scan is really good and precise. It shows whether the area is ‘hot’ or ‘ cold’,I.e. benign or active.
She’ll have the best care, if they are taking so much care in the diagnosis x

@Pam S: thank you for explaining that Pam,my other friend keeps saying it's just a chest infection she will be right, but I knew if they were looking at something in particular it wouldn't just be infection. Hopefully it's just something they can sort out for her, she doesn't have good health but she keeps plodding away, she's a solicitor and she works day and night. Like someone else I know 🤔she needs to slow down and look after herself.😊

@Michelle M: your friends chest, could just be consolation after a chest infection. This can cause scarring on the lungs as well.
The PET scan is used when a CT is a little inconclusive.

@Vix: well it was a case of Im going to do it if it doesnt work too bad.lol he has been sitting there for months. i just found the seam at the back with my fingers and snipped enough away so i could get my fingers in at the back past the stuffing and had my other fingers at the front and pulled the eyes out and slipped the new ones in.without moving my hands too much.it wasnt really that hard.then i just resewed the
back seam with left over wool that i had.you can do it Vix just have everything sitting ready to go.😊😊

@Vix: if the sequins are holding the shape does that mean the eyes pull in,if you embroidered over them they would stick out more. I think you could embroider them Vix but snip the sequins off as you go so You don't lose the shape all at once either the new embroidery will hold it or the sequins until you have finished. Do you think that would work.?😊
