Although I've been knitting for 60 years, this was my first garment knitted in the round from the top down. So it was a challenge, and a bit of an act of faith. I left it for a couple of months after lockdown, and finished it in the second lockdown, so this will always be my Covid Cardigan. I like it though. It's really cosy. While I was knitting I was concerned that the sleeves and armholes might be too tight. I dealt with this by casting on extra stitches for the underarms which meant that I had to adjust the decreases some. I went by the letter of the instructions on the front band and collar, and I set the top buttonhole too high. I'm going to fix that by removing the button and invisible sewing the buttonhole so no-one will know. I also feel the roll collar is a little too shallow and it doesn't sit perfectly. I could unpick it all and do it all again, but hey, I think it's good enough as it is! So far I'm really impressed with the yarn, it's soft and cosy.
