I found this pattern in an old pattern book and loved it, plus I had a couple of balls of this vintage, hideous, variegated green yarn, which seemed perfect for my fish. As my husband is a keen fisherman, I couldn’t resist making this ugly/cute sea creature for him. The recommended yarn (below) is a fairly close match to the type, ply & colour of yarn used.
Ohh please don't say he's hideous I love puffer fish they are so cute and they remind me of little dogs the way they will follow you around if you go near their tanks. We had a marine aquarium once and I always wanted one but the fish we already had in there wouldn't have been happy.😏He is fantastic Jayne and I know you had fun making the wee man.😊😊😁
