    About

My daughter, Hilary, loves to wear loose, long cardigans at school, so I got her to choose a pattern and wool while she was here with me at Easter. It didn’t have pockets, which she needs when dealing with all the kids, so I added them in. I don’t know why the pattern won’t come up, since I bought it from here? I’m not a fan of the wool - it’s ‘recycled’ aran - a bit harsh and scratchy I thought, and I’m a bit dischuffed that I’ve got one whole ball of it left, despite having made pockets 😡 I’ve just posted it off to her, and I hope she likes it.

Great cardigan 😊. I quite liked this yarn, although I did make an owl and hare in it, which you could make with your leftover ball. Or maybe a cowl/ scarf for her to wear on playground duty?

It looks lovely Helen, I love the long length and the colour too, pockets a must I think too. Not so good about the wool though, so annoying especially if you didn’t enjoy knitting with it. But it’s a beautiful cardigan, beautifully knitted too 😊

It looks a useful cardigan Helen. And I like the rib you’ve used. 😊
