I have had this yarn (Sirdar Click) for a very long time intending to make a cable sweater with it but I find most hand knit sweaters too hot. Then I saw this pattern and thought it would be a challenge and an opportunity to use up a chunk of my stash. The cardigan is knitted top down all in one so no seams to do at the end. It was certainly a challenge as much of the terminology was strange but finally I have finished it. I still like it despite all the problems it gave me, but as I used a substitute yarn itβs a little smaller than I thought it would be. The length is fine, but the width is much narrower than intended as the pattern is very stretchy and works like a rib causing the stitches to pull together. Fortunately I chose to make it without buttons and buttonholes and have it open so it doesnβt really look too bad.
In truth the yarn was quite a disappointment as there were a lot of flaws and knots in it.
