Thank you Linzi I found that crofter wool at a wee shop and it's so pretty and worked with some baby wool I had here. It's very fine so had to be careful with the edging stitch.😊those wee buttons are shell ones and I found them in Spotlight.πŸ˜ŠπŸ’•

Thank you Sue that Sirdar wool is really pretty. The wee hats are one of my favourite patterns. Our group doesn't start again until Feburary so will have a few things to take in. I'm really looking forward to seeing your cats they will be fun to knit and add the wee stripes. Thinking of you and hoping you have a lovely time on Christmas day, I know it is a hard time for you at the moment. Lots love Michelle.xoπŸ’•

Absolutely gorgeous Michelle. I love the way you have used the crofter yarn on the border and the yoke. The little hats are gorgeous too.

Thank you Jennifer that crofter wool is beautiful I found it in a wee shop when we went out, I also got blue and pink as that's all she had but there are some beautiful colours in it. Just have to be careful with my edging as it is very fine.😊😊the wee hats are one of my favourite patterns so easy but look nice.

@Michelle M: The crofter wool is fun to knit. I did quite a few things in it when the older grend children were little and I did a cardigan for myself in the cotton mix crofter. Hope you are doing something nice for Xmas.

Hello Elaine that's the wee top I was telling you about, so do you think I should knit the wee hugs booties to go with it or to go with the hats.😊😊It's a lovely wee top, I am still struggling with my edging though as that wool is very fine and soft, I ended up slipping the first stitch and having the wool at the front then bringing it round for the second stitch.😊😊Hope you are having a nice week and have got all your goodies ready for Xmas day.πŸ’•πŸ’•

I think a little hat would make a lovely set. I always slip my first stitch, it makes a neater edge. Yes already for Christmas, looking to see what i can get Bella for her Birthday now ( it’s in February) πŸ’•

@Beth D: thank you Beth I even looked up some advice things. Because the wool is very fine and soft it was hard to get the garter stitch edging to look neat. I ended up slipping the first stitch but keeping the wool at the front then bringing it back for the next stitch. I think next time I will drop down in needle sizes too.😊😊Hope you are well and looking forward to Xmas.πŸ€ΆπŸŽ…

@Michelle M: When doing garter stitch (all the rows are knit stitches) I slip the first stich purlwise, then pass the yarn from the front to the back, between the first and second stitches.

@Beth D: ohn thank you for your comment Beth that's what I did, I think maybe next time I will use 3,75 instead of 4 needles for that wool.😊😊

@Michelle M: Is that the Sirdar Snuggly baby Crofter? I've got loads of it, but yes. it is slightly finer than general DK. 3.75 mm needles work well with it, but so do 4mm. It all depends on your personal tension and how 'drapey' or tight you want your garment/item to be.

@Beth D: yes that's the wool Beth I had not seen it before but is beautiful.I think I'm not as tight a knitter with garter stitch but will keep going as it's lovely. Thank you.😊😊
