Taught by my mum to knit when very young .I knitted for my niece & nephew when they were small, but never seemed to pick up the needles again til we retired 8 years ago to Catalonia. As we adopted 3 very young children in one go ,I never seemed to have the time to knit for them , so when grandchildren came along I took it up again - and since finding this site I’ve been “ hooked” on knitting things I would never have dreamt of doing a few years ago .It’s absolutely amazing to see all the beautiful things everyone makes.
