As before can’t fault it
Bought this smooth yarn for some early fall sock making. Really turning out nice. I am looking to purchase a few more before winter arrives. Busy busy with this gorgeous Debbie Bliss
The wool is soft and is easy to knit with, but having only used two of the eight I purchased, I have found knots in both where the yarn obviously snapped in the spinning or winding process. I have been a knitter for over 50 years and, yes, I have found this situation in the past, but never twice in consecutive balls. I would have expected a better solution to have been found by yarn manufacturers and, if this is not possible, advice to be given on the ball band that the yarn has an imperfection. Knitting wool is not a cheap commodity and it is disappointing to find that we have to pay the same amount for a defective product as for an undamaged one without any warning that there may be a problem.
