Pattern notes

This pattern is worked in rounds. Each round starts from 1 chain and ends with 1 slip stitch into the 1st chain.

The nose and head

Using 4.00mm crochet hook and Yarn D (here we use Dark Grey):

R1: 6sc into MR
R2: 6inc
R3 - R4: 12sc

Change to the colour A yarn (here, we use Taupe).
R5: 12sc
R6: (2sc, inc) 4 times
R7: 16sc

R8: (3sc, inc) 4 times
R9 - R13: 20sc
R14: 4sc, (inc, 1sc) 4 times, inc, 7sc
R15: 4sc, (inc, 2sc) 5 times, inc, 5sc
R16: 5sc, (inc, 3sc) 4 times, inc, 9sc
R17 - R23: 36sc
R24: (4sc, dec) 6 times
R25: (3sc, dec) 6 times

Place safety eyes between 16 and 17 rounds leaving near 15sts between them.
R26: (2sc, dec) 6 times
R27: (1sc, dec) 6 times
R28: 6dec
Cut the yarn leaving a tail. Pull the tail through all 6 loops and fasten off.

Ears (make two)

For the ears, use colour A.

R1: 6sc into MR
R2: 6inc
R3: 12sc
R4: (1sc, inc) 6 times
R5 - R8: 18sc
R9: (4sc, dec) 3 times
R10: 15sc
R11: (3sc, dec) 3 times
R12: 12sc
R13: (2sc, dec) 3 times
R14 - R15: 9sc

Break off the yarn, leaving a tail for sewing. Sew both ears to rounds 20-22 of the head, leaving about 10cms between them.

Flower crown

Using the colour B yarn (Vintage Pink)
R1: 5sc into MR
Change to the colour C yarn (Buttercup Yellow)
R2: (chain 3, 3dc in one st, chain 3, ss to the same st, ss to next st) 5 times
Break the yarn.

Make 9 flowers in total.
Attach all flowers to the head (like a wreath) using the yarn ends and fasten off.

Legs (make two)

Using the colour A yarn
R1: 6sc into MR
R2: (1sc, inc) 3 times
R3 - R6: 9sc
Break the yarn for the first leg.

Make the second leg but do not break the yarn for the second one and continue to crochet the body.

Body

R1: 9sc into sts from the second leg, chain 6, 9sc into sts from the first leg, 6sc into chains
R2 - R10: 30sc

Change to the colour B yarn
R11: 30sc back loop only
R12 - R17: 30sc
R18: (3sc, dec) 6 times
R19 - R21: 24sc
R22: (2sc, dec) 6 times
R23 - R25: 18sc

Break the yarn leaving a tail for sewing.
Using the colour C yarn make surface slip stitches between 10 and 11 rounds of the body.
Stuff the body. Sew it to the head on 18 - 22 rounds.

Arms (make two)

Using the colour A yarn
R1: 6sc into MR
R2: (1sc, inc) 3 times
R3 - R5: 9sc

Change to the colour B yarn
R6: 9sc back loop only
R7 - R10: 9sc
Break the yarn leaving a tail for sewing.

Using the colour C yarn make surface slip stitches between 5 and 6 rounds of the arms.
Stuff the arms but be careful not to overstuff.
Sew both arms to the side of the body between 24 and 25 rounds.

Finally, the tail!

Using the colour A yarn
R1: chain 10, 9ss. Break the yarn. Attach the tail to the back of the body between 8 and 9 rounds of the body.
