I grew up surrounded by fabrics and old clothing, collected by women, from women, from every corner of the world, stored in trunks, that told the stories of other lives.
Introducing the Heather Ross 20th Anniversary Fabric Collection
This collection of fabric for Heather Ross' 20th anniversary have been hand picked as favourites. Many of these fabrics have been inspired by the balancing act of motherhood and work, spying on a beloved cat called Plump amongst the tiger lilies, a crumbling lakehouse in the Catskills and a tiny cabin with a view of the ocean that felt like something out of a dream.
There are only two ways to get a quilt: make one, or find someone who knows how to make one and make them love you.
Heather isn't a planner, she didn't plan on being a fabric designer. Instead, this path was one she kept returning to that has led her to a career and community that in her words feels more like "a home than a job". The wonderful whimsy of this 20th Anniversary collection invokes childhood memories, hazy summer days and all the magic of possibility.
