How to finger crochet

Finger crochet can be worked in any weight yarn, but we think it's easier with heavier yarns like chunky, super chunky and super super chunky! Using your fingers instead of a hook is easier than you think, and it takes no time at all to whip up a scarf or a cowl!
Materials
- Paintbox Yarns Wool Mix Super Chunky
- Set of 2 Clover Jumbo Darning Needles with Case
To make Merion's simple infinity scarf:

Make a slip knot with your fingers, and chain 50 (50 plus 1 for turning), and turn the work.

Work a single crochet (UK double crochet) into each loop of the chain with your fingers. When you reach the end, turn the work.

Ch 1, work a single crochet (UK double crochet) into every stitch, and repeat this row until your scarf is deep enough - you can increase the number of balls of yarn you use, but Merion only used one in the video for a small scarf.

To sew up your scarf, place the ends right side together and sew using mattress stitch. To create a mobius scarf, twist the scarf once before sewing the ends together.
