How to crochet Kate Eastwood's FREE bobble wreath!
Published on 11 March 2019 By Merion 2 min readOur fabulous crochet friend and designer Kate Eastwood has published her first book, Crocheted Wreaths & Garlands, and to celebrate, we're sharing a pattern from the book, and giving you an exclusive discount code to buy your copy of the book!
We're huge fans of Kate's fabulous tutorials and patterns, and her Crochet Club patterns have included gorgeous makes like the Star Baby Blanket, the Out and About Backpack, and the most popular of all, her sweet Animal Taggies. Kate's capacity of dreaming up new patterns is never-ending, from garments to homeware, and she is legendary for her colour choices! It was no surprise to us that she would create such a beautiful book - it is bursting with garlands and wreaths for every season, from pumpkins and leaves for autumn, spring flowers and summer roses, strawberries, little birds and snowflakes - your whole year is covered in this fabulous book. The patterns are clear and easy to follow, and we stock all the yarns used in the book here at LoveCrochet.
We love the Bobble Bunting pattern - you can adapt it for any occasion, and extend it as long as you like - change the colours and make it for any room in the house, or even for parties in the garden.

MAKING UP AND FINISHING
On the beads, thread the long yarn end onto a yarn needle and use it to close the hole left at the bottom. Sew in all the ends on the flags and crocheted beads.
Block the flags, and then finish them by sewing an opposite colour small bead at the tip of each flag. Thread each flag and the large beads onto thin white ribbon or cord, positioning two large beads between each flag, alternating colours of the beads to the flags, and placing one bead at each end of the bunting.
To finish off the bunting, add a ribbon bow in a coordinating colour at each end.
