Life models wanted for world’s first Life Crafting session!
Published on 29 July 2020 2 min readWe are thrilled to announce we’re currently recruiting for a life model in the world’s first ever life crafting session. If you aren’t shy about showing a bit of flesh and love the idea of being the muse for 150 artists then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Led by Brogan Bertie of Experimental Practice, the session will take place via Zoom on 27th August at 8pm BST, lasting approximately one hour. The session will be open to more than 150 budding artists and crafters, who will all be creating their own unique life drawings and figures inspired by our chosen model.
As the life model you must be comfortable being nude in front of an audience and able to hold still poses for up to 15 minutes at a time. A strong internet connection is also a must, as well as a good understanding of how Zoom works.
The session is part of our month-long LoveCrafts Festival where makers from around the world will be coming together to share what crafting means to them. One of the key themes of the festival will be size inclusivity and as such we are encouraging those who identify within a group currently underrepresented in modelling to apply.
Applicants must be over the age of 18.
As the session will take place remotely, you can model from the comfort of your own home and the successful applicant will receive £250 for their time. We will be contacting the successful candidate via email by Friday 14th August, so please keep your eyes peeled & make sure you've submitted your application before Thursday 13th August at the very latest.
