Stiff not soft at all. Is easy to work with I went up to a size L (8.0 mm) hook drapes nicer. Cannot use for a baby blanket too scratchy. Colors are all nice. Yarn splits Skeins are too small have gone thru 5 balls( 4.4 oz) and only have 20 inches! I don't think I'd purchase this yarn again. I gravitate towards soft squishy lofty yarns in bright colors
Very soft yarn, easy to work with and knits up really quickly. Love the colours and as I'm knitting a bkanket with seven different colours they all look great together. The only downside is the yarn does split a bit whilst knitting but that is a minor issue
Easy to knit with, light yet warm. I have been knitting beanies and scarves for Knit for Kids and a skein can make up a 9x9 beanie and a 4x36 scarf.

Lovely yarn, crochet’s beautifully and not at all splitty. Bought this as a substitute for a Mary Maxim yarn that I cannot get in the U.K. but it is absolutely lovely, thick and soft. Perfect for my project!
