    About

Francesca is the daughter of one of my ex-pupils and I love making little things for her. When I saw this pattern for a princess crown, I just had to make it for her.
What a clever pattern! And such fun to make. I was just sad that I wasn’t able to find any metallic wool, so just had to use silver grey.Thoroughly enjoyed sewing on the jewels! I was going to make the two wise men crowns for her twin baby brothers, but I figured that the jewels might be frowned on for a baby to wear?
If anyone wants nativity costumes this pattern is great - many congratulations to the designer, so clever!

😩 in my hurry to post it, I forgot to take a photo. Let’s hope I’ll get a picture of her wearing it! (It looks exactly like the pattern photo)
