    About

I have far too many scarves already but when I saw the colours in this yarn I had to have it...

I can't tell you how many times I had a go at getting the planned pooling to work, got frustrated and then put it back on the shelf. Eventually I decided to ignore the pattern and followed a YouTube video which made it make a bit more sense. Once you get the argyle pattern going it's so satisfying!

It was worth persevering in the end because I think this may well be my new favourite scarf!

    Pattern

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 5.00mm (US 8)

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
Other : The needle was only needed for weaving the loose ends in.

    Measurements

Notes: The dimensions of the scarf are 20cm x148cm. I was surprised because I ignored the instructions in the pattern, which said to chain 34 to start, and just did as many stitches as I needed to get the planned pooling going. It still worked out the correct dimensions anyway! My tassels are 7cm in length.

Well done for persevering! It looks really good. Do you happen to remember the video you watched. I have tried a few but they don't seem to get the centred and defined effect you have .
